I joined the
Economics department at the University
of Toledo as an
Assistant Professor in August 2003.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Claremont Graduate
University in Fall
2001. I completed a dual Bachelor's
degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics at U. C. Berkeley. I teach
courses in Public Finance and Economics of Sports, as well as introductory
and intermediate courses in microeconomics. My research focuses on the
relationship between racial and ethnic diversity and the level of state and
local government spending within the United States.
