Brief Biography

Dr. Pentina is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Toledo. Her research interests are in the areas of digital marketing and online consumer behavior. Her research has been published in the Journal of Retailing, Journal of Advertising, European Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, European Journal of Innovation Management, Journal of Consumer Affairs, and other high-impact journals. She presented her research findings at numerous national and international conferences, organized by the American Marketing Association and the Academy of Marketing Sciences.

During 2009-2014, she served as Faculty Director of the University of Toledo Interactive Marketing Initiative and coordinated UT Annual Internet Marketing Conferences. Dr. Pentina was selected a Fulbright Research Scholar for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 academic years. She was recognized by Elsevier as an Outstanding Reviewer of 2015 for her service as a reviewer for the Journal of Interactive Marketing. In 2017, she served as Guest Co-editor of the Journal of Product and Brand Management Special Issue on Web 2.0.
