Humor in Young Adult Literature


 No, this is not an oxymoron.


Despite the number of grit and grim titles out there, you'll find a wide range of titles for young adults and middle grade readers who want a laugh.

Children's Literature Comprehensive Database
This comprehensive database will sort on a number of descriptors
including "humor." To find humorous books for children using
this database, after you log in:

Use"Go to browse" from the search screen
and enter the browse word "humor" (no quotes)
in the browse category "text words."
