Milan, Italy

There really isn't much here and no one speaks English. Everything is pretty far away, too. So, you have to take the metro or tram everywhere. But, I don't mind public transportation. Just one thing - this city is pretty dirty. There is really only 2 attractions and they're right beside each other. Everywhere else is covered in graphitti and cigarette butts.

Overall, the city is pretty nice and people are fun to listen to.

Today we visited both Autogrill (food and beverage franchiser) and Vodaphone (European Verizon). Both companies were pretty cool, but 2 companies in 1 day was a lot. So, I'm exhausted. (But fed well - finally.) Obviously ate lots of past and it was delicious and way more filling than I expected.

Also, finally got a chance to call my family and of course, Michael. So that made me feel better. It's tough when no one speaks English.

Michael runs the Red Bull 400 tomorrow so that's both exciting and nerve-wracking. Going to be praying lots. Also, we're now 7 hours apart time-wise and it's tough on communication. But, we seem to be doing fine, so that's good. I really miss him and some days honestly want to skip the rest of this trip and go home to him. However, this is truly a once in a lifetime experience and I'm trying my hardest to stay positive and happy!

My dad will be here in 4 days, so he's pretty excited and so am I! Finally, someone I know and someone who speaks English!

Tomorrow - off to Rome! Addio!
