Barcelona, Spain

We visited Owen’s Corning's plan in Sant Vicenc, Spain. What a small plant! We got a short overview of the differences between working cultures in Spain versus the U.S. After that, we had a ton of free time, so a large group of us visited Park Guell. However, we never actually went in. We just looked from above. But, it was still pretty cool!

After all that and tons of walking, we (7 of us) found a small "hole in the wall" restaurant and stopped for lunch. No one spoke English of course, so we had a hard time reading the menu. So what did we do? Order something. I ended up with a hamburger (not beef) with different kinds of lettuce, some weird cheese, tomato, mayo (I think), and a fried egg. Weirdest but most delicious burger ever! Also, it came with 2 fried, mashed potato balls. They were delicious.

The rest of the night we just shopped and stopped for tapas. Tomorrow - off to Milan!
