Secretariat, nicknamed "Big Red", is one of the greatest racehorses to ever live. Breaking a
25 year Triple Crown drought, he won the 1973 Belmont Stakes by 31 lengths and
set a new track record that still stands today. He sired over 200 foals in his retirement and continues to show his legacy on the track today. His legacy is honored with multiple monuments and statues across the country.
