My work with the University of Toledo woodshop has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience as a maker. I helped design and build the woodshop inside the university makerspace, creating a safe and organized environment where students can learn woodworking and hands-on problem solving. As the student lead, I teach tool training sessions, assist students with academic and personal projects, and continue to develop guidelines that keep the space running efficiently. This role allows me to combine teaching, leadership, and craftsmanship while contributing to a creative community that supports students from many different fields of study.
