Spencer Lake Farm Equine Handler

Spencer Lake Farm offers full care horse boarding, training, and lessons. My job entails feeding, haying, bring in and turning out 20+ horses. As a barn hand I have handled horses of various temperaments appropriately through my experience with parelli training. I also clean stalls, water buckets, sweep and upkeep the around the stables to maintain a save and clean space for the boarders and their horses.
Hobbies & Interests
I am an active member in the University of Toledo Equestrian Team and Social Media Committee Chair of the team. I am in charge of social media platforms for the team such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. My goal is to recruit potential members to the team and promote our IHSA organization. As Social Media Committee Chair I created flyers for team events during the 2018-2019 school year.
At the University of Toledo I am member of Soul Purpose, which is an organization that promotes Christian values and empowerment of women. As a member of Soul Purpose I am apart of the creative team which helps promote events on campus and through social media platforms. My role in the creative team is to take photographs and video of events that are held. I also take part in designing flyers, logos, and apparel for the organization.
Outside of college I have been riding for over eight years in both English and western disciplines. Have competed at local horse shows in Medina County area. Apart from riding I love to spend my time outdoors hiking and traveling around the world. I have found a passion for experiencing new cultures and learning about the history of the places that I go to. The inspiration through travel has been incorporated into my artwork.
