Barcelona, Spain

Well this trip is much harder than I thought it would be. I've cried like 4 times today just because I'm so far away from everyone and the culture is so different. No one laughs. Seriously.

But, the hardest part honestly is the time difference. I want to talk to Michael and my family, but every time I go to do that it's either like 4am or 2pm, both bad times to call people. I don't even feel like I'm in Europe, so I always forget about the time difference. Then I listen to people are me and realize that I don't understand anything anyone is saying.

Anyways, today we had a cultural presentation. That was interesting... Nearly fell asleep and passed out from how hot it was in that room. After that we had a bunch of free time, so we checked out Las Ramblas which is like shopping and a marketplace. Then we had our first company visit - Freixenet. The company was a winery which was pretty neat to see. We got to go underground and experience how wine is made. After that - wine tasting. I, unlike many people, only had one glass. It was incredibly bubbly and honestly quite bitter.

After the wine tasting, we visited La Sagrada Familia - a gigantic cathedral that's been under construction since the 1800's. It was absolutely gorgeous and so unique.

Tomorrow we have a ton of free time as it's out last day in Barcelona, so I'm not 100% positive as to what I'm doing, but I'll update tomorrow.

It's 1am, goodnight!
