"psychedelic"

"Psychedelic" is one of the first creations I made when I first started digital art. It was the first time I had sat down and forced myself to create. I was in a huge art block around Fall of 2021, I was desperate to create something because it had been so long since I had created something for myself. I was working at my job, working long hours and that in its entirety made me lose motivation and love for art. The previous year I had gotten an iPad, a Apple Pencil and all of these products were just sitting around and waiting to be used. So, on a night of one of my days off, a weekend that I had planned off I put headphones on and started to create this.

I was listening to the album, "How to be a Human Being" by Glass Animals.

I was seeing them live in concert that weekend. Particularly the song "Take a Slice". I had played this song over and over again on a loop while creating this piece.
