INSIDE THE MIND

Art has been something I have been passionate about since I was a child. I remember sitting down at the counter of my grandmother’s house, coloring in the coloring book she had gotten me, scribbling away at the paper with crayons, messily going outside of the lines. I remember my grandmother encouraging my artwork, telling me that one day she knew I was going to be an artist.

I’ve been taking art seriously since I was about 12 years old but didn’t start considering graphic design as a career path until I was about 17 when I went to a Career Field School where I studied Graphic Commercial Arts, where I competed in State Competitions with my design work. Ever since then I was head over heels deep in love with design, whether that be app design, logo design, web design or even merch design. I am over the moon about everything design and like to be hands on with all of it.

My personal work is digital art, I try and replicate traditional techniques on a digital canvas to create a story or a series of emotions. Some of my artwork is based on modern fashion trends but some of them are based on songs that I am listening to while I decide to create. I experience an art block quite a lot so when I force myself to make something I typically put on a pair of headphones, go into a quiet room and create whatever comes to my mind.

My overall goal in my artwork is to provoke emotions and keep your eyes and mind wanting to know more.
