Watermelon Sweater

Ganesa Sweater

There are many groups on Facebook and online that share patterns, tips, tricks and photos of projects. There are also some very talented people that create designs and ask for "testers" to follow the pattern for clarify. Afterward, the designers sell the tested patterns. I tested a hat with little problem and was asked to test a sweater. How hard could it be?

My daughter has long arms. The first test pattern never returned my messages asking for guidance on how to lengthen them.

The second test pattern was upset that I knitted how I interpreted her instructions and didn't do what she meant. The cardigan below will also be completed soon, but I'm not allowed to acknowledge her pattern.

Celtic Knot Fingerless Gloves

This purple one was a first attempt at a fingerless glove. If anyone knows The Friendly Giant, hook me up and I'll give it to him. The next pair came out better. The Celtic pattern was to tie in to the Outlander shawls below.

Carolina Shawls

Many years ago I started reading (and loving) the books by Diana Galbadon that turned into the Outlander series. I share this passion with two friends and thought of them when I saw the pattern for these shawls. Shawls are just scarves on steroids.
